Safety Procedures

Men’s Group - Room under Sanctuary

Will follow all of the same procedures as for Voorhees Hall overflow worship except:

  • Screening will take place outside the parkside lobby entrance.
  • Men will enter through the parkside lobby door. It is important that people do not congregate in the lobby upon arrival.
  • The lobby bathrooms may be used (for emergency only).
  • For dismissal all men will leave through the parkside lobby exit and meet their families and/or head to their cars.
  • All windows in the room will be opened and the exhaust fan by the sink will be turned on. Window fans will be used as needed for additional ventilation.

Women’s Group - Sanctuary

Will follow all of the same procedures as for Sanctuary Worship services.

  • For dismissal all women will leave through the parkside Sanctuary exit and meet their families and/or head to their cars.

Youth Group - Voorhees Hall

We will follow all of the same procedures for Voorhees Hall worship except:

  • Screening will take place outside the parkside lobby entrance using the same screeners as the men’s group is using.
  • Students will enter through the parkside lobby door. It is important that people do not congregate in the lobby upon arrival.
  • The Youth Director will be in-person in the fellowship hall and will be simultaneously on camera on Zoom for those students who need to remain virtual.
  • At this time the Discipling Team is unable to provide volunteers for the in-person portion of the Wednesday Night Hybrid Youth Group. Parents have volunteered to assist during the pandemic or until our youth workers are comfortable returning.
  • The youth director and two parents who have been background-checked and have completed the child-safe training will chaperone the students in Voorhees Hall each week. If at 7:30 PM, 10 or less students are present in-person, one of the parents can return to their adult small group. If there are no volunteers to chaperone, students will be sent into the adult small groups and will sit next to their parent/guardian and youth group will continue virtually.
  • There will be no active games at this time due to safe distancing & mask usage including: no running, no physical contact, no balls or shared equipment.
  • There will be no shared materials, no handouts, no food, etc.
  • The lobby bathrooms may be used (for emergency only).
  • The Fellowship Hall HVAC fan will be running at all times to provide adequate ventilation.
  • For dismissal all students will leave through the Voorhees Hall ramp exit and will walk around the building maintaining social distancing to be reunited with their families in the grass area alongside Park Place.

Children

At this time there is no Wednesday night programming for children younger than 6th Grade. Parents are strongly discouraged from bringing children on Wednesday nights. In the event that a parent does bring a child on Wednesday nights, the child must be screened and stay by their parents’ side for the entire evening. They may not roam around the building and they may not attend youth group.

All Groups

All groups will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon entry and will be asked to clean and put away the chairs they have used according to established procedures.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
